I hope this helped you a great deal :)
[9th grade]freshman=14-15
[10th grade]sophomore=15-16
[11th grade]junior=16-17
[12th grade]senior=17-18
Freshmen ( 9th grade) 14-15
Sophomore ( 10th grade) 15-16
Junior (11th grade) 16-17
Senior (12th grade) 17-18
( Those ages are about the normal ages for those grades. Some do skip grades ( or start school sooner) and are younger. On the other end some start later or fail a grade and are older)
9th grade is freshman. ages 14-15.
10th grade is sophomore. ages 15-16.
11th grade is junior. ages 16-17.
12th grade is senior. ages 17-18.
Freshmen are the first year and they're around 14-15.
Sophomores are second year students and theyre around 15-16.
Juniors are third year students and are around 16-17.
Seniors are fourth and last year students and are usually 17-18.
=)
1. freshman-14/15
2. sophmore-15/16
3. junior-16/17
4. senior-17/18
thats how it normally goes...
same as above
9th grade - Freshman (usually 14-15 years old)
10th grade - Sophomore (15-16 years old)
11th grade -Junior (16-17 years old)
12 grade - Senior (17-18 years old)
Then it repeats when you go to university with your first year being a Freshman, 2nd year is Sophomore, 3rd year is Junior, and 4th year is Senior.
freshman - 1st year of high school
-usually ages: 14 to 15
sophmore - 2nd year of high school
-usually ages: 15 to 16
junior - 3rd year of high school
-usually ages: 16 to 17
senior- 4th and last year of high school
-usually ages: 17 to 18
Welcome to the U.S.!
Here they are in order
Freshman14-15
Sophmore15-16
Junior16-17
Senior17-18
First year in High school- Freshmen 13-14
Second year-Sophmore 14-15
third year-Junior 16-17
fourth year-Senior 17-18
Okay it goes 9th grade-14-15(Freshman), 10th grade15-16(Sophomore), 11th grade16-17(Junior), then 12th grade17-18(Senior), I take it your a foreign exchange student?? Anyway people shouldn't be asking you what year your in that doesnt make sense. They should be asking you what grade your in or your age for that matter.
