I need to take the GED.?

Question:Its been over 30 years since i should have graduated, so Im taking the GED test. I was gonna study online for free, but computer is a little slow, so should I just invest the $20 and get the book, than take the test when Im ready ? Is it really all that difficult ?

Answers:
Well, the only thing that the book did for me is gave me an idea of how the test is really like. I bought the "Cracking The GED" So maybe you would better buy another book, since you left school long time ago and need some refreshing. I'd say check some books that are designed for one section at a time. I think they would be good for you.

Also, I'd recommend you take a sample exam, either online or buy a book that has sample exams. They help you figure out how good or bad you'd score. If you score really bad then I'd recommend you take a course. If you score fine then just buy one of these books and practice.

I think most books just give you an idea of how the exam is really like. If that's what you need then buying a book would be just as good as going to websites.
No, I had a friend that only went to 10th grade and passed it. Good luck.
