Honors English had two books to read over the summer but I didn't do anymore than that over summer.
As for being excited, I really didn't care. I was happy to see friends again but not happy to be getting up early again.
I have to go back September 4th. It sucks so bad. Atleast I have the rest of August. Some kids have to start in August.
