Hi I have been on misco.co.uk and they seem quite good - but not sure how the prices compare. Another place you should watch out for is http://www.hotukdeals.com/main.html... as they regularly have special deals for students.
Good luck
If you are at London College or University I suggest you read Gandhi's book on where to eat in London(Written in early half of last century, but you'll know cheap places to eat and how to avoid tourist traps). Also if you know that Supermarkets tend to reduce the price of food making it extremely cheap at about 9.00p.m.(That is Tescos ,Sommerfields etc).If you are at Lon. Univ.you can buy easily paper for 25p at the SU
student account? do you mean with a bank? i am with hsbc since i am saving up now for the next 2 years to go to uni, and they are great.
cheap stuff. i would say tescos and big asdas, they have a good selection of electronics, also currys are useful, not pc world, big ripoff artists. and for phone deals, my brother (phone expert...not) says orange or O2 and he says they are the best for students because it is fairly cheap to make calls and texts to other networks. but if you go into your local o2 or orange shop (not a dodgey phone dealers) then they always help with stuff like this and they know the best.
