Talk to your counselor. It is quite possible that you accidentally got put into the wrong class. And like everyone says, it's better to take honors English, but grade 10 honors English will probably be too hard if you haven't taken grade 9 English yet.
Lots of classes are going on at the same time, but they might have made a mistake, too. Yes this can happen. Don't worry and just take the class, since it is weighted on your gpa, getting a C in honors is like a B in normal; so if you can get a B in honors your gpa will shoot up. If you are seriously considering college, I recommend that you take the class, it is worth it.
