Question:Hello everyone i really need some advices regarding my certification and employment. I was recently hired by the principal at a New York city public school as a social studies. I have met all the requirement of certification( completed advanced certificate program, passed atw, last, and done all the workshops) but haven't taken my CST and my certification is pending. My question is ----is it possible for her to hire me with this situation? I am taking the CST on October 7th. Please help. I don;t want to loose this job ..( i love the school and my principal) any advices? I will meet her tomorrow and let her know about the pending certification..

Answers:
You should be fine...It does depend on the state, but as far as I know as long as you have a date for the CST, then you are ok..breathe..lol
It varies from state to state. But provisional credentials are usually available, especially if there is an immediate need.

The word is LOSE, not LOOSE. To LOSE something is to not know where something can be located. LOOSE is something that is unattached from the normal or appropriate location. Schools kids will bury you alive if you make such statements on the chalk board or elsewhere.

Spell check does not help you with this since LOOSE is a normal word. The computer is not able to pick up improper usage.
