College foreign language requirments!?

Question:Ok, so I got a problem here, I am a junior in high school and I speak three languages (Italian, Russian, Japanese) not including english, I studied them through Rosetta Stone, books and what not....
...I have only have half a credit in foreign language.
I never took anymore foreign language classes because I thought that I already met the requirments...but now I didn't know that I have to have at least 2 credits in the same foreign laguage for high school to get into a university!! I got confused with that.
Now I'm kinda stuck.
What will the colleges think? Am I eligible?

Answers:
If you are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking foreign languages you should be able to take exams to exempt you from taking the required foreign language courses.

For universities, such as the one I attend, they may require you to take a written exam approved by the foreign languages department.

Overall, it really just depends on what the university is looking for - you may want to contact an advisor in admissions to give your more information on exams and procedures concerning foreign language requirements. :)
Take AP tests in the languages you know. If you score very high You can ask them to waive the requirement
Well, first, try to get as many more foreign lang. credits possible. maybe you can take extra classes, summer school, something-see what options your highschool has to offer. then maybe you can see if you can get credit at a community college that could be counted as your two credits required to go to a 4 year college. Check out the colleges you want to go to, and see what they will allow. good luck!
I am a high school teacher of foreign language (French and Modern Greek). In FL you must have two credits of the same foreign language to get in to a state university. You might be able to get around the requirements in your state by taking a CLEP (college level proficiency test) in either Russian or Japanese. If you can pass it, then they would waive the requirements for university admission. Or, worst case scenario, just take 1.5 credits in whatever language you have the 1/2 credit in.(summer school). Best of Luck!
