Answers:
I quit school in 9th grade. That was what the official date was, but actually I quit in the 8th. I not only passed my GED, but went on to receive a BBA with a GPA of 3.0. Best of luck.
No, a GED is the bare bones basics of what you would have learned in high school. Basic history, math (alg I and sometimes more), writing, etc. You will most likely take the pre-GED exam, which is scored to show which areas you are not yet competent in. After that, if it is needed you will have to take GED classes in those subjects so that you will be able to pass the next exam.
No not 8th grade. It is supposed to be the equivalent of HIGH SCHOOL diploma.
How about going to an alternative school?
you need to have a high school level education. everything they learn in high school you need to know to get a ged. get a tutor or go to the library:)
Going back to school would be best, but some high schools and community colleges offer GED classes free of charge, then they give you the test.It usually is done at your on pace and it doesn't take long.Call high schools and area colleges to get information, don't wait long or you might end up not doing it.Reading books will help you with most everything, best wishes!
