Answers:
1. Don't talk about other people.
2. Avoid people who seek out drama. It's not hard to know who that is.
3. If someone says something bad about you, ignore it. My mom always told me to kill people with kindness. Be nice to them even when they are rude to you. This does two things: it makes you look more mature and makes them look like childish brats.
4. Don't repeat things you hear. If someone says "Did you hear about..." simply cut them off and say "I'm not interested in gossip. Thank you though."
5. If you have a problem with someone, like they are talking about you behind your back, and it doesn't go away after ignoring them, walk up to them when both of you are alone and straight out ask them "Do you have a problem with me?"
