Question:I've always wanted to go to a private catholic school. Im really not sure why, but I have. I know exactly where i want to go and such. Im just so tired of public school. I come home like 2 hours late everyday, either mad or pissed off.I really hate my high school, it's in the middle of a trashy neighborhood and i just really don't like it. So if you could tell me about catholic schools, that would be great (:
thanks.
Answers:
Assuming you are referring to high schools, they typically differ by the following:
1) School uniform and stringent dress codes (i.e. length of hair, conservative make-up, no facial hair, etc)
2) Theology class
3) No-nonsense teachers. Any type of rude behavior will have you serving some sort of detention and/or menial labor.
4) Required Mass.
5) Tuition. Anywhere from 5k to 10k a year.
6) Lot of optional extra-curricular out of class events, like fund-raisers for worthy charities.
