Question:which name is listed alphabetically in a database?
What I mean is, if someone is called Mary Smith Jones (note: WITHOUT a hyphen to join the names together), where would one look on a database to find them... under Smith (1st part of the surname) or Jones (2nd part of the surname) ?
Answers:
Probably depends on the database, but I imagine that the name [Smith Jones] without a hyphen would be under Jones.
If that doesn't work, try the other way.
