Summer book homework help!?

Question:i have to do a sequence of events for my summer homework reading which is great expectations by charles dickens. but the problem is that i dont know how to do a sequence of events. how do i do it?? thanks =]

Look for signal words like first, next, last, before, after and finally to help you figure out the sequence. You can also use other word clues in the text or your own knowledge, “What I know clues,” to find the sequence.

Try making a list of the major events on paper. Such as. This happened. They went here. Anything that is a big part of the story.

I am assuming that you have to write this in essay form. It would be written like any other essay. In the first paragraph, you could describe the book-main characters, what the overall story is about, etc.

Then each supporting paragraph will be an explaination of one of the major events.
