Question:I need the formula for finding the volume of a hemisphere.
I only have the radius, there is no height or surface area to worry about.

Answers:
You mean half a sphere, don't you?

Find the volume of a sphere, then divide by 2.

(4/3) x Pi x r x r x r

Four thirds Pi r cubed

Isn't that the formula for a sphere? (It's probably in your book right there.

If so, use the radius to get the volume of a whole sphere that size, then divide by two to get half of that.
Isnt a hemisphere half of a sphere??..what the hell

sphere volume: v = 4/3*pi*r^2...so just half the volume.

the end
