Good for you! If there is something this world needs it's people who can make them laff....I'm no expert here, but do you practice your craft while you out? I mean, do you go into comedy mode when you're talking to a waiter/waitress, friends, school/work mates, etc..? If so, then I think that would count as practice, right? And if you're not, perhaps you should give that a whirl...I'm always cracking jokes but my kids cringe now, you know, it's that "generation gap" thing! lol! Have fun, I'll look for you on TV some day!
First off, you are trying to commit to too much time right off the bat. Instead of 3 full hours, maybe you can commit to a half hour of each one, spread out during the day. It might seem like such a chore to devote that much time just yet because that routine is not established. If you can, try practicing joke writing in the morning, acting later on in the day and singing before bed. Or try one thing for an hour for a week and see how it works. Then add something else. If you burn out before you get into the routine, you're doing too much.
