I tried that whole credit card thing, but there is a piece of wood built in the house the doesn't allow you to do that, I don't know any way else beside sticking a scissors into the slit and turn it, but that is a different kind of door as you can see.
Please help,
thanks.
Answers:
you take a thin flat head screwdriver, insert it into the hole in the center of the knob. Feel around until it engages a small groove. Push in and twist then turn the knob the door will come open. These knobs usually come with a small tool specifically for this purpose. Look on the upper door frame. if it is not there, look for similar doors in your house. If you still don't find one, get a small screwdriver.
And that's why you'll get yourself a spare key. Meanwhile, go find whoever owns the building and he'll let you in.
This is one of the lessons we learn when we move out on our own. Don't hurt the lock.
Riiiiigggghttt. Thats your house. ok.
in one of ur pictures of the door there is a small whole in the door knob, put the end of a metal clothes hanger through there u should feel a piece of metal hitting the hanger push on that and ur door should unlock, good luck, let us know, oh and if it has screws on the outside of the door knob u can unscrew them pop the knob off and unlock the door that way
well, from what i saw in the picture there is a small hole on the front of the handle, if it is a small hole just use something like a unfolded paperclip stick it in the hole and push it around and eventually you'll figure it out
ok if your door is anything like mine (witch i think it is) you should be able to get a metal hanger and straighten it out and push it in the hole of the door knob if you don't have a hanger anything long and thin will work you just want to push in the little piece inside the hole until it unlocks. good luck!
