Yes. I just went through this for my daughter. Some school districts don't like you to transfer, but most have to allow you to. Well, if they have room. All I had to do was go to the school district office, of the school that I wanted her to go to, and fill out a paper that requested that she attend there. Oh, and pay a five dollar fee, and state that I was willing to provide her transportation. No big deal. Although, when I talked to the principal of the school, and asked what the chances were of there being space, he said that it was really minimal cuz of how many people wanted to transfer there, so it is a first-come-first-serve kind of deal. At least, in my area it is. Don't let them talk you out of trying, like I said, some people really frown on it, but it's worth trying for. (They ended up having room for my daughter.) Oh, and if it doesn't work this year, simply try again next year; be the first to put the application in, you know? Hopefully this helps. Good luck!
If that school participates in a "schools of choice" type program, then yes, it is possible.
Yes you can it is called open enrollment. Call your local school board and ask them about open enrollment and tell them that you would like to enroll in the school that you want to attend, they should be able to direct you in what you need to do.
I don't think so. You will have to attend the school nearst you or homeschool through an online public school that your state may have.
