Walkin home from school with strangers yelling from their car to me!?

Question:ok i just started my frshman year and i walk home from school which takes about 15 min away. I also have to cross 2 really busy streets! well the prob is that while im walking, there would be some people yellin out of their car to me sayin 'Hey baby!!' or 'Arent you suppose to be in school lil girl!'
I get a TON of these stupid comments for the past few days & i hate it! Everybody tells me to ignore it but i still want a lil more advice than that.
oh and I wear a School Uniform too if that helps (with a skirt on..) so its completely obvious to alot of seniors/other people driving their car seeing im a new school girl.

I read the other answers. Many of them are very good. BUT I’ll “add my two cents worth”:
1] Bring a change of clothes, put-up your hair and wear THE UGLIEST frames for glasses - without the lenses. AND
2] After dismissal, if it seems to be the same pea-sized brained idiots and morons you’re hearing those lousy, degrading remarks from, before starting for home, wait about 10 or 15 minutes. BUT that time could probably be used while you’re getting changed, couldn’t it?

Thank you for asking your question. I enjoyed taking the time to answer your question. You did a great job - not only for your information, but for every other person interested in reading my answer. Thanks to everyone for reading my answer.

I wish you well!

Yes, that's my real last name.
advice on what? to get rid of the yelling/ stuff? cant stop people from what they wanna do or say but ignore it...but be careful if there are some crazy people who try to come to you.all you have to do is kick him in the ballz..saw that from some tv show and looks like it'll work.
There will always be plenty of idiots out there on the roads. Just make sure you keep plenty of room between these morons and your body. Do not get close to the street where you could be grabbed. Walk with someone if possible. Some men/boys have brains the size of a pea. Just be careful.
i dont no how to stop them yelling but i would think about finding some1 to walk home with, walking alone along busy roads isnt safe
You are probably a hottie, That's why you get all those comments.
The most important thing to do in these situations is to protect yourself. Keep a good distance in between yourself and the harassers. Do not make eye contact or respond to them in any way. If they physically approach you assume they mean your harm and scream at the top of your lungs. Possibly go into a store or library or a crowded place. Do not go down a dark alley or take a short cut or isolate yourself. Try to walk with a group or take the bus or other public transportation. Inform your parents and your school of any harassment.
