Slow down and go back over your words.Then use the spell check .. If you make it a habit you will be spelling it correct in no time.
You do this because you never learned to spell these words correctly in grade school. All the good spellers and proofreaders of the world learned how to spell in grade school. It really isn't possible to learn later in life. Either you are a good speller or you are not a good speller. Use spell check and still look for gramatical errors.
Believe me you are not the only one that does that! I think it is because we spell words like we hear them.
The i before e thing still gets me...and I have been spelling a really long time!! Good Luck!
