I use to be a lame in 8th grade but last year in 9th I got real popular...
(1.)Stylish Clothes, get a trademark attire(Mines was name brand Hoodies)you need to rock the baddest gear that represents you as a person
(2.)Be more social, you need to talk to everyone and mostly everybody that has social power(the girl that every guy wants)
make her your friend or the guy or girl that everyone hates(usually there popular)
(3.)Make jokes in class that the whole class think are funny(blurt them out so the whole class can laugh, and make sure that they're funny)
(4.)Being a total ***** can work to, like for instance, if the popular kids are messing with you, grow some balls and do a memorable curse out that simply embarasses them(thats how I got my popularity)
(5.)Exchange phone numbers,Mypace accounts, and message these peoples regularly...
(6.)Go places with people to regular hang out spots(The Mall, The Restuarant thats by the school, or Arcade)If you are a home body no one is going to know you're alive if you are only seen at school
(7.)The most important thing is Confidence, Have you ever seen that fat gurl in class, or ugly boy in class that has the whole class watching their every move.Its because they have confidence to say a joke, talk to everyone, and do anything they want.

question .. why would you want to be popular anyway , your sposed to be true to your self and if your true and not popular thats just who you are , i find that popular people are really mean and fake friends , find some true friends this year and you will be truly happy.

Don't worry, I'm not popular either, and I'm a nerd too. This might sound corny, but just be yourself. If you want friends, just communicate with people - say hi, wave, etc. Just socialize, and you'll do fine.
