What is the best process to revise Chemistry next to independent study (on my own)?

I guess this is more of an opinion query. What do you think the best means of access to learn a subject is when you are on your own?

Thanks!

Answers:    It can be done but is immensely difficult to learn on your own. If you enjoy a natural aptitude for a subject, you can revise it but it will always whip longer to really comprehend the information. I am a chemist by trade and have never taken a class surrounded by Chemistry. I had to revise from the "on the job" method. It has taken me allot longer and I am still mode behind those that go to school and get a degree contained by chemistry. Independent study is better than no study but is no where equal to that of a "formal" instruction.
