Depends on the type of degree you want. A B.S. for example is going to take about four years, though you can take the C.P.A. test (if that's what you are interested in) before you graduate. In addition you should be able to get a number of jobs before you've graduated.

Some schools offer a PPA program which is a 5 year program where you get your bachelors degree and your masters degree. You also do an internship as part of your schooling. It's a great way to get an internship and then hopefully get a full time job. Engineers, Accountant and Lawyers are all heavily recruited now days so they don't really have a problem finding a job, unless they have bad grades. To get your CPA license, you have to complete 150 hours, I think.
