This is because in high school you are surrounded by so many choices, and it gets really confusing and tricky. You'll have to make choices like what classes to take, how to handle a fight with a friend, what people think of you and how to react, and many more. It's like a giant board game where if you make wrong decisions you'll lose your turn (feel bad and awkward) and if you make the right ones you move up (feel good, succeed at classes and get along with friends.) So it's all about choices, and making good choices.
I would describe high school as LIFE. It's no way near middle school. High school is just a step closer to being on your own when it comes to college.
havent made i here but in a week i can tell you but right now im scared so high school is "scary" lol...
