amazon.com usually has the best prices i've found because they are second hand and i've never had a problem. Plus if you sign up with their credit card company *chase* they will give u i think 30 dollars off, i did that then canceled the credit card ><
Which in a nut shell means you can theoetically buy 30 dollars more books for the same price
Ebay.com maybe but eh.. hard to tell sometimes
abebooks

A word of caution if you buy used textbooks, assuming you're in college. Some profs insist you have the latest edition of a book they wrote themselves. Every couple of years they will bring out a "new' edition with a few changes -- mostly of the replace "small dog" with "puppy" sort -- with a new jacket color or design. They get no money from any used texts you buy, but a percentage of new sales. Some profs are notorious for this. If textbook costs are putting you in a real bind, you might consider checking ahead before you sign up for a particular class taught by a particular prof. If you have a choice, for most undergraduate work it doesn't matter if you have a PhD or a brand-new untenured instructor in front of you.
I can get you most new books at twenty percent off. If you are interested, then send me an email.
