The Beginning of the School Year Doesn't Feel Like A Big Deal Any More?

Question:Tomorrow i start my senior year of college and i doesn't seem like tomorrow is a special day (which is kind of nice although it feels sort of weird too). Sure i did do a few things that i always do on the last day of summer break, like figure out what cloths i want to wear tomorrow, getting my book and stuff together but a up until about two years ago, the last day of summer what huge.

There was always that last few weeks where i dreaded the idea of school starting (now i couldn't care less if i had another 2 months of summer break), there was that frantic last day making sure everything was perfect. I mean 15 hours of making sure every detail was right. Then the first day of school i was always nervous, i would scope out the people in my classes, etc.

Now, today doesn't feel that special and it feels like tomorrow is just another day. The only thing that feels different is that I know I can’t go to the bars on Thursday nights now. Has that happened to other people

Answers:
It's not. I found it to be rather routine than anything special
You ae growing up and becoming more mature. That is the reason.

Now if you could only get rid of the bar scene...
Sounds like you are growing up. That's a good thing for someone who is a senior in college!
