u should see what public school ur zoned to, then u should go there. but u if u wanna go to another school not in ur district then i guess ur going to have to double check with that school.

since your parents are paying for your education at the private school, they obviously want to make sure that you are getting a good safe education. I went from private school to Glasgow High School. I hated it! bathrooms were filled with cigarette smoke, hallways smelled like pot. People were always fighting, skipping class, backtalking teachers. Some teachers were jumped in between classes for giving their students a bad grade. And my school wasn't even in the ghetto. Plus the final decision is pretty much up to your parents, who will feel that they have wasted their hard earned money if they let you go to a public school.
As long as you go to a public school in your district then you are fine. All you would need to get is the forms from the public school you are able to go to. and have your parents sign them and what not. But no you have to go to a public high school your living area is assigned to.
