uniforms are much more convenient because otherwise you'd have to decide what to wear every day...but then again, i was the kinda guy who'd sleep in till 30 mins before skool back in the day...haha
I like it because you dont have to stress about what to wear every day. And when you go out it will seem like you have a lot of clothes because you wont have any repeats for a looong time!

Well i go to school, and i personaly dont think uniform is that bad... unless its extremely strict like my school, doesnt let u wear any pol shirts with ANY symbols on it like locoste.. but anyways its not too bad.. its only DURING school, school isnt really a place i see u need to look ur best, ur there to learn and get an education to get a good job, if u dnt want a good job, get out.. after school get with ur frnds, wear WHATEVER you want and wear it at the mall or the movies. just try to adapt to it for now,

I think, it takes away the insecurities of teenagers in school. If you look on here half of the questions on confidence are about wearing clothes. Also people don't have to worry about what sorta clothes to wear because of the labels ex. a&f, polo
Well, you won't get picked on because of your clothes.
This may not mean anything to you, but studies have shown that schools that have uniforms perform better on standardized test. There is less teasing of certain students about their wardrobes and attire since everyone wears the same thing and it is more cost effective; not a lot of clothes shopping for school.
I hate wearing uniforms too. If you're talking about school the only reason they are a good idea is because everyone is wearing the same thing so no one can make fun of you saying your clothes are ugly cause their wearing the same thing and also it wont take like an hour to get dressed in the morning
The nice thing about them is that you don't have to freak out about what you have to wear every day. The bad thing is that you have no freedom in your clothing chooses

School is school you go there to get your best education to graduate and make a living. What about kids who are dieing to have clothes like you? Think about those and for you too. School is good it does not kill you. I think uniforms are fine if you go to a private school or public school. It does not matter.

They might suck if you can afford really nice clothes that are "cool" and if you can fit into a size negative 12, but for those of us who are average and aren't willing to lose 45 pounds so that we can pay $120 for half of an outfit, it pretty much sucks to be made fun of for something as stupid as what we're wearing. When everyone's wearing the same thing, it's a lot easier to look on their inside and see who they really are.
If you mean school uniforms? I think they are great.. no one has to try to out-dress anyone else.... makes it all kind of fair doesnt it? and dont say that it stiffles the individuality.. because you can be anyone you want to be, dressed in a uniform or regular street clothes.
And as for another kind of uniform.. Army , Navy, Air Force or Marines.. how handsome those that wear them look.. and what a uniform to wear.... yes?
lmao I run the uniform shop at our school. I hear that nearly every day. Uniforms are in place for a number of reasons.
1/ Safety: They allow the teachers to see at a glance who is supposed to be there and who isn't. When you are dealing with over 1000 kids, it is a big help.
2/ Socio- economic factor: It cuts out the "best-dressed/ most expensive clothing" competition, mainly between the girls.
3/ Identification: On the way to or from school, should something happen to you, your uniform identifies you.
4/ Parent sanity: We parents don't have to deal with kids trying on everything in their wardrobe in an attempt to find something decent to wear to school. Uniforms are easier on our hip pockets when they have to be replaced. That in turn means more money for the kids to spend.
5/ Pride: You are the face of your school. Good or Bad.
