How old do i need to be to get a library card?

Question:

Answers:
All of my children had their's before even entering kindergarten. I did have to sign for them to get it, and bring proof of address and ID.

I had mine probably in the 1st grade--and my mom needed to sign, and all the rest, too.
any age in the world.. u get a card for free in most libraries. enjoy!
I got my own library card when I was 8 years old. Unless something has changed..
If you can write your name, then you can get a library card.
Every library system is different. Ours is any age, even infants. Parents must sign approval for young children to be responsible for lost books. Other systems have an age, such as 5, or a developmental level, such as the ability to sign one's name. If you can type a question in on Yahoo, you are old enough! But one note, where I live, a library card is free to those who live within it's taxing district, but if you DON'T live in an area in it's taxing district you have to pay for it.
