Which is correct? '80s, 80's, or 80s?

Question:please tell me why

Answers:
I've seen them all way. I think '80s is correct, though because it appropriately abbreviates the 80s. I don't like "80's" normally because the apostrophe is not usually referring to ownership of any sort.
80's
'80s because its short for 1980s..
80's because 80 would suggest one and then with other words ending in 's it suggests more than one
'80s, as you are referring to the decade of the 1980s (thus the contraction in the beginning) but the Years of the 1980s (plural) not the possessions of the '80s
'80s because the apostrophe is replacing the 19 in 1980s
I have always seen it the third way. I don't know why
