How much homework do 5th graders get?

Question:IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL, Pennsylvania

Answers:
I taught 5th grade last year. It really depends on your teacher and the school district. Personally, I assigned about 30 minutes of homework a night and didn't assign homework over the weekends since many kids have extracurricular things and family time to enjoy. It's good practice for middle school when you'll have several teachers assigning homework on the same day.
depends on the teacher, technicality there isn't really an answer to that, but not to much

Depends on the teachers. Could be every night or never.
Ideally, you should get 10 minutes per grade level per night; that means almost an hour. Of course, that depends on your teacher. Unfortunately, most teachers think students should be able to do the work faster than they can actually do it. This also doesn't count reading. you should be reading independently 30-60 minutes per night.
