Please help. What job can I get with my college degree?

Question:I recently graduated from The University of Iowa, Tippie College of Business with a double major, Marketing & Management; 3.35 GPA but due to financial constraints, I also attended a community college in the summers to finish my 2 year degree and therefore have no internship experience.
I live in Des Moines, Iowa and need an entry level job that matches my degree. HELP. What job would my degree help me get? PLEASE HELP!

Maybe you could look into retail, like a manager position until you can figure something out. But business definilty helps with retail I gaurantee that. Also check out www.whereusave.com
It sounds like some sort of entry-level management position would be appropriate for you. Look around at businesses advertising for assistant-manager positions. Or you could look for sales positions (there have to be lots of those out there). The important thing is to get some job experience that's at least remotely related to what you want to do.
Which brings me to my third comment: Have you figured out what you would LIKE to do?

Since you have expressed an interest in the Coast Guard, here's their recruiting web page

Have you visited with a recruiter? Is it possible for you to get a direct commission since you have a college degree - that would be great for you.
Go Coast Guard!
