Taks test??

Question:Well, i'm a junior in high school and i live in Texas. Well, i don't think it's right that we have to pass all 4 taks tests to graduate. I have a problem with the Math and Science taks, ( more problems with the math taks), and stupid teachers that don't teach right. i'm scared i won't pass them and i won't be able to graduate, that's my fear. Why can't we just take final exams and go by credits for graduation, isn't that how it used to be?? or how it is in other states? Do other states have to take a test like this and pass it in order to graduate? how many of u feel the same way like me about the Taks?

Answers:
You are so right that you shouldn't have to pass TAKS tests to graduate! Actually, Texas is moving back to passing final exams to move to the next grade/graduate, but I think your class will be graduated when it goes into effect. Just do your best on the TAKS, take advantage of any help offered at school. You will have several chances to pass and few people do not eventually pass. Good luck! You can do it! (Even though you shouldn't have to!)
I THINK ITS A BUNCH OF B.S !. im suppostu be a senior right now but i failled the taks test and now ima junior.i only have 11.5 credits and today i was in the councelors office i cried my *** off when she told me " ur gonna have to come back next year for the full yearh " I HATE TEXAS. and this stupid *** law. now in october if i dont pass it then i dont know what to do.
