Contact the school districts directly. They each have slightly different processes. But you'll likely be asked to fill out an application, submit your resume, and possibly complete a short interview. It is typically simple and straightforward to get set up...then you'll be ready for those 6AM wake-up calls to start rolling in.
Hint- if you try to sub primarily at just a few schools, you might become one of the preferred subs. That means more calls, and more consistency. Subbing for the same teacher is always easier than subbing for a different one every time.
