well. i'm a teenager, so i know how to write.. and in fact i write a lot. however, i'd say for both teenagers and adults the answer is yes. you just need to start small, do little things and remember to do them every time. for instance, i began to cross my 7's (European style it's sometimes referred to as) and write differently than i did a year ago. over time (takes a while) you can change and improve your handwriting, you just need to focus when you go to write, and be consistent.
The same way children learn, you can relearn... Get the handwritting practice books. They show you the proper way to write... and PRACTICE...
Just keep writing more, and try to make it seem more legitimate looking.
Find more ways of writing an A or a B if you must.
