Where does ice tend to freeze and melt last?

Question:this has to do with driving classes would it be. inside tunnels? at lower elevations? or shaded areas from trees and buildings?

Answers:
It freezes first on bridges usually as they don't have as much substance to hold heat (the air underneath instead of warm earth) so I would guess that they melt last. But if your options are just the three you listed then the shaded area would freeze first and melt last of those 3. A tunnel would likely hold the heat of the earth (geothermal) so it may take the longest, and elevation is to vague to determine... There are low spots in the dessert and in the Arctic...
inside tunnels, they are dark and cold. it takes longer for them to warm up
