When passing or...?

Question:sorting out papers. Do you lick your finger(s) to grab the paper? If so, why? Thanks!

Answers:
I used to because it helped to grip the page when it wouldn't separate from the one under it. I have stopped though. I wouldn't want to receive a paper that had essentially been licked by someone else. Yuck. Also, if they are papers that had been turned in, like assignments, that I am returning, they might already have germs and such on them. Double Yuck!

so that it's easy to grab them one by one.
yes, its like when you have dry fingers you cant grip the paper, but when your fingers are moist it picks up easier
