collect all the playing cards you can find and have them make a huge house and see how big they make it before it falls. Have a drawing or coloring contest. Usually at this age they entertain themselves.
cards, coloring, make anything into a race or competition, popcorn and movies (they'll usually crash), word searches, computer games, let them take pictures or movies of themselves doing something to show their parents when they get back. let them tape each other coloring or doing a project or doing something silly. They love it!
