Can someone please tell me the difference between autonomy, independence, self esteem and self concept?

Question:They are all part of an assignment I am doing relating to child care.

Answers:
Autonomy- * noun: immunity from arbitrary exercise of authority: political independence
* noun: personal independence

Independence- noun: freedom from control or influence of another or others

Self-esteem- how one feels about themselves: * noun: the condition of being honored

* noun: an attitude of admiration or esteem
* noun: a feeling of delighted approval and liking
* verb: regard highly; think much of
* verb: look on as or consider

self-concept- the mental image one has of oneself

Children all begin learning factors of self esteem, concept, independence, and autonomy from a very young age. I believe adults and other children can have an affect whether it be positive or negative on a child's life. When discussing child care- is the provider promoting positive characteristics/environment in healthy ways?

Hope this helps!
