this is a first! I always keep a binder full of paper and other class releted things... pens, pencils, highlighters, white out, extre erasers... a planner to keep track of homework... a laptop if you have one. notebooks and textbooks...

you should find out from school what your teachers require for different classes but go on the first day prepared with:
-spiral notebook(s)
-pens (blue and black)
-pencils
-erasers
-loose leaf paper
-binder
-folder(s)
-colored pencils
-ruler
-white out
-bottled water
-small snack for emergencies
start with that and you will be set for your first few days, find out from teachers what you need for each class and go from there! good luck!
A towel. You should always have a towel handy. If it gets cold, you can wear it like a blanket. If it gets hot, you can use it for shade. If you are attacked by a Ravenous Bugblatter Beast, you can use it for protection by covering your eyes (I'd explain it, but those who know what a Ravenous Bugblatter Beast will know, and those who don't, won't.)
