when you subtract a minus number, the 2 minus symbols cancel each other out and the number is now a positive number. e.g. a = 734, b= -128, c= 605
so a plus b plus c minus b is
734 + -128 + 605 -- 128
which becomes 734 - 128 +605 + 128 +605-734+605+128+128+734 = 2805
