I want to be a school guidance counselor. Couple of questions?

Question:I go to a two year school, what should my major be declared?

When I graduate from this school what school(s) in NC, SC or NY should I attend?

What should my Degree be declared there?

Then I also I see that you should have some in class teaching experience. What degree should I pick? English, History what?

IF YOU HAVE ANY GREAT SITES THAT I CAN GO TO please list them.

NEED RESOURCES!!

Answers:
school guidance counselors typically have majors in either social work or psychology. in either case a Masters degree will most likely be necessary to get a job. After that you may also need to pass a license test depending on the state. Try to speak with the current counselors at your school to figure out what the appropriate path for you would be. To find out more just do some searches and use college finding tools to learn about schools with the majors necessary. Best of luck
no one but YOU can make these decisions for yourself. It is your life. Try googling the schools you are interested in to get their webpage addys. Go visit each campus and talk to career counselors if you are having that much trouble deciding for yourself.
