Eye exam for Pennsylvania learners permit?

Question:I live in Pennsylvania and I was planning on taking my learner's permit test really soon. But I read somewhere that you also need to pass an eye exam. I already know I'll need glasses, but am I allowed to take the written test FIRST and THEN pass my eye exam another day to get the permit?

Thanks to whoever answers =)

Answers:
When I went to get my permit (in PA) they did the eye exam first, then the written test. There's really no point in doing them on two separate days because you can't get your permit until both are done, and then you'd just have to go to the DMV twice (which is annoying and the lines are usually really long). It would be easier to just wait until you get your glasses and do them both on that day
Ask them! It varies by state.
I'm pretty sure they're both done on the same day. good luck!
Yes, I think an eye examination should be required before the learner's permits are received. Seeing correctly is as important as knowing how to park or drive.
