I went to a public school when I was growing up and then went on to college. The college that I went to there were a lot of students that attended private schools. In my opinion, the private school students were no better than me nor smarter than myself. I think its all about saying well my kid goes to a private school..somehow that statement makes you special. I dont know.anyway I would not trade my public school days for anything. I learned a lot, had a lot of fun, and got a master's degree off of the basics I learned in that public school!
It is much more diverse than your private school I can bet.

I transfered fro ma private school to a public one only to find out the public school had a drug and gang problem >.< Stupid stupid me

One it is going to be cheaper. Your cliente will come from all classes. So you will have those who are low class trash to high class fools. Go with the mind set you came to get an education. That is what is going to carry you through the rest of your life, not the people. They are temporary. If you make a few friends to last a life time there, fine. Your goal is to learn and achieve a scholarship. Most of us dont even know the kids we went to high school with anymore, less grade school for that matter. Life is a progression of changes. Friends and people you meet change. What you learn you keep forever.
