What advice do you have for me and others?

I'd actually do my homework BEFORE it was due. Sure, I got by and got into a good school, but it would have been much easier if I had done the work.
Also, I'd ditch the friends that loved drama...I spent a lot of time playing nice with girls and guys who were full of crap and loved to start stuff and create drama where there was none...so much unnecessary stress!
I wouldn't have tied myself down to the first boy that winked at me.
I would not have taken the military entrance exam under pressure from my useless guidance counselor. When I told him I was not interested in going straight to college, Mr Dumbass thought the only other option for me was the military. He assured me that the military would not contact me unless I checked off on the exam that they could. I didn't not check that off.
So I took the stupid test. I scored 3rd highest in my state. The Military recruiters - from every flippin' branch of the Armed Services - harassed me for 3 years trying to get me to sign up. So much for that check box.
Now that I see what is going on the world, I have pangs of regret at not signing up.
Other than that, I am just happy to have made it through those 4 years in a crappy school, with mostly crappy teachers.
Avoid the cliquey brat creeps that are full of themselves. Latch on to the real people at school who are not trying to impress anybody. Befriend the shy and quiet ones. They will most likely wind up your most loyal friends.
would have focused more on my grades instead of procrastinating, its sucks to be a senior and hear ur friends talkin about the colleges they are going to and ur going to a jc. dont forget to have fun, it goes by so fast!
