If you're in high school, depending on what kind of teacher you have, you should. Most high school teachers hand out homework the first day. I'm going to be a freshman this year and my freshman English teacher handed out homework.when I was still in 8th grade! Seriously. And when I get in class, we'll have discussions, quizzes, and an essay on the book all in the first week! Just sharing something.
bringing a back pack for school..is always a good thing..ya never know wat could happen..keep extra pens and maybe bring a few book covers and some paper...so ur prepared..your teachers will be impressed if u show that u care about schoool and wat ur doing..

if you are in high school then that is a big ten four because most teachers will want to give you all of your books and the other stuff so unless you want to lose a few pounds carrying a hundred books home then I would say yes
