Talk to your former counselor and see how much you really have left. A diploma trumps a GED.
You want to spend a year in school explaining why you're back, or get your GED in a couple of weeks? GEDs are such easy tests. My oldest son got his, and after the test he said he "feared for the future of America" because it was so easy--like 4th grade level. But promise yourself you will get a REAL education too!
