I would not worry about it, a lot of kids where hoodies, I have a neice that wears one all the time. Let them talk if they want. You have the right to wear what you please. And remember while people are talking about you they are making you famous. Don't make any reply that is what they want. Ignore them.
Hmm. The only kind of hoodie I can think of is a sweatshirt that has a hood. Is that what you're talking about? People at my school (public) wear those all the time, so I'm sure you'll be OK. Now if you're saying that you wear the same one everyday, people might notice, but they shouldn't bug you too much about it. Hope this helps!
I think you're really worrying about nothing. No one's going to really care if you wear the same hoodie everyday because it's outerwear. It's not like you'll be wearing the same shirt everyday - just something to wear over your clothes. They'll probably think that it's the only hoodie you have and that you like to keep warm.
I had a friend who wore the same hoodie a lot. No one bothered her about it and no one really cared.
I know how it is to worry about something really small. I remember I worried about what people would think if I wore flip flops to school (hah I used to have a thing about feet), or what people thought when I got highlights in my hair. I even once wore the same hoodie for a week. No one cared about ANY of it. Now that I think about it, it was really silly for me to worry about those things.
If anyone's going to spread rumors about you, they're going to be a lot worse than something like "oooh they wear the same hoodie everyday! that must be the only hoodie they have!"
People might say things at the expense of your emotional well-being for 5 minutes of entertaining conversation. Don't let it get to you, because it happens all the time to almost everyone. What you really need to worry about is if rumors become so wide-spread that they are constantly causing you emotional pain. If this happens and you know who may be at the root of the rumors or who is continuing to spread them then you should talk to the school guidance counselor.
What will really get someone who's spreading rumors about you is if you confront them face to face. Explain that you know what they're doing and that you don't like it. You should also ask them flatly why the insist on spreading rumors, and I bet they'll feel pretty ashamed of themselves and know not to mess with you anymore.
