I am. Same awesome teachers, but new and improved classes. I love my gym class, and I get to take driver's ed this year. I enjoy every minute of school, except for some of the homework.
Ya, I'm pretty excited! I'll be a sophomore and first year of high school! So many people are freaking out, but I'm doing OKish...And I'm starting the International Baccalaureate program so hopefully that'll help me get into a good college. And I'm pretty much done with all the back to school shopping and I like the styles this year, so I'm happy about that. Hoping to get a boyfriend this year finally. But I just got the worst haircut in the world, so I'm not too happy about that. But mainly, I'm just excited to see people I haven't seen all summer and to leave my junior high! September 4th baby!
I am cuz I'm gonna be a Freshman in High school. And our high school is awesome!
I'm kind of looking forward to school, simply because it is my senior year, so I'm looking to make the absolute best of it that I can. Also, I get to see all the people I haven't seen since June, I get something to do all day (other than prepping for winter track, working, or sitting around the house).
I also have some of my favorite teachers again this year, including my business teacher of 3 years (had him for business law, and for sports & entertainment marketing. Have him this year for College Accounting), and my Italian teacher of 3 years.
That said, I am kind of bummed, but only slightly. Mainly for two reasons. One, my U.S. History teacher last year was probably the best teacher I've ever had, and my Government/Ec. classes won't be as entertaining without a teacher like that. Two, as always, my school finds a way to screw up electives. I had signed up for almost a full schedule with all my electives (Italian, accounting, sports law, and AP European History, AP statistics)... Well, sports law is out because of a scheduling conflict, and not enough people signed up for either EH or Stat, so both of those are out. Why is it always the classes I WANT that have to be screwed up?
