Starting High School?

Question:I'm sooo worried about starting high school. First of all, a lot of my friends are goign to different schools becuase the high school is exactly "clean". Second i wasn't exactly the popular one because I was so quiet. I had a good group of friends but i want to be able to be outgoing and exopand my friends. How should I do this?

Answers:
high school is sooooo much better than jr. high and elementary. Don't be afraid. people like people who are willing to talk and make friends. i'm a senior and my advice to you would be just have fun and don't care. because once you blink high school will be all over and you will miss it alot. just have fun!
Don't be shy, take it as slowly as you need to, learn from others. Be louder, and courages, take risks, it's part of life, and you'll learn a lot. Sooner or later, you'll find some of the friends that you have been looking for.
it is very important to adjust because you can never be forever in a gradeschool? or in a highschool? or in a college? it's a matter of handlng things well and be able to be versatile enough in dealing with other people. who knows, meybe you'll find the nicest friend friends ever.. ^_^
Get involved in extra curricular activities, they help you meet people with the same interests as you. I've met some of my good friends through extra curriculars.
Try to find people with the same interests as you, and be yourself. If people don't like you for who you are, they aren't your friends. Be calm, you'll get new friends. Don't let the upperclassmen bother you.
