well what your parents probably dont realize is the school does not make you smart. It up to the kid and parents to work together on education. Good luck though, some parents are more concerned with social standing thinking if their child attends a private school the will be smarter and go farther in life..not true. 1st of all you need to find a suitable time and place to talk to your parents.
