Just fine, academically. Only the social could cause any problems. Get in with a group of nice boys, to protect you from the bullies, & you'll be fine.
that depends on your maturity level. if you can keep up with the school work, that doesn't always necessarily mean that you can keep up with the social atmosphere in sophomore year... you might have to grow up a little too fast, learn about things you weren't ready to deal with, and face people who don't like you because you're smart. one of my good friends my junior year was a 12 year old freshman. really smart, really cute, but she ended up being dragged down when she dated a sophomore kid. he was 15, and he ended up pressuring her into stuff that she wasn't ready to do (smoking, drinking, sex) and it really ruined her personality.
make sure you're strong enough for that change, and willing to stand up for yourself. high school can be a rough place, but you've gotta be just a tough to get through it. ;)
